Product Security Engineer – Long-term contract opportunity!

• €350–€400 per day
• Initial 6-month contract with strong long-term potential

This is a highly technical role with a global technology organisation whose products support critical healthcare environments, focused on identifying, analysing, and validating security vulnerabilities across a range of products and applications. You'll act as a key security resource within the product development lifecycle, helping to determine real-world risk, investigate exploitability, and ensure security issues are accurately assessed before remediation decisions are made.

Working closely with software engineers, architects, and product teams, you'll be responsible for acting as the first line of defence for Product Security investigations, independently assessing vulnerabilities, validating findings, and determining whether identified risks are genuinely exploitable within the product environment.

What You'll Be Doing

• Assess vulnerabilities and determine real-world exploitability, reachability, and product impact.
• Act as the first line of defence for Product Security investigations, independently analysing security findings and validating vulnerabilities before engaging development teams.
• Investigate findings from SAST, DAST, SCA, penetration testing, and vulnerability scanning tools to distinguish genuine security issues from false positives.
• Research emerging threats, attack techniques, and security trends that may impact products and applications.

Key Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in Product Security, Application Security, Web Application Security, or a closely related security engineering role.
• Strong Web Application Security experience is essential, including OWASP Top 10 and secure application design principles.
• Experience working with SAST, DAST, SCA, vulnerability management platforms, or penetration testing outputs.
