We are delighted to be partnering with a growing mid market Private Equity Fund looking to hire a Senior Fund Accountant to support the financial operations and reporting of their private equity funds. This is a growth role and new addition to their rapidly expanding Dublin operations, aimed at someone with a few years PQE working on closed end fund structures (either in-house or in fund admin).
This is a hands-on role as part of a close knit Finance team, supporting a highly successful manager that closed off their latest vintage in 2025. Total assets under management now stands at €10bn+.
We'd also gladly welcome applications from Irish returnees keen to make a move back home and to Dublin.Responsibilities:
- Oversee the financial control of a portfolio of private equity funds and associated co-investment vehicles
- Manage quarterly and annual financial reporting to external stakeholders
- Oversee fund administrators to ensure accurate, timely and compliant reporting
- Manage cash and treasury activities, including capital calls, distributions and subscription facilities
- Maintain fund performance models, management fee calculations and carried interest waterfalls
- Provide insights and analysis on fund performance and returns
- Produce ad hoc reporting for limited partners in collaboration with Investor Relations
- Support valuation processes and preparation of valuation committee materials
- Assist with investment transactions, including acquisitions and disposals
- Manage tax compliance and related queries
- Lead the annual audit process for assigned funds and liaise with auditors and internal teams
Your background:
- Qualified accountant (ideally ex audit) with around 2 to 3 years in-house experience in an alternative asset manager or fund administrator
- You must have worked on Private Equity style fund structures / closed ended funds
- Experience managing third-party service providers is highly desirable.
- High attention to detail, strong organisational skills, and ability to work independently.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, growing environment.
- Strong communication and business partnering skills.
