Armont have partnered with a leading multinational organisation seeking a Senior Financial Accountant to join their high-calibre finance team based in Dublin city.

This role offers broad exposure across financial accounting, reporting, business partnering and process improvement within a complex global environment.

The successful candidate will support month-end reporting, deliver financial insights and contribute to finance projects and systems initiatives, making it an excellent opportunity for an ambitious qualified accountant seeking a newly created role within a dynamic business.

The Role

• Support month-end close activities including journal postings, reconciliations and financial reporting.
• Preparation and analysis of monthly financial results.
• Partner with operational and cross-functional teams to support business performance and financial control.
• Drive process improvement initiatives and support finance transformation projects.
• Contribute to system enhancements, testing and automation initiatives.
• Prepare insightful analysis to support decision-making and identify business risks and opportunities.
• Support compliance, governance, and internal control requirements.
• Assist with ad hoc finance projects and reporting requirements.
• Provide support and guidance to junior members of the finance team.

The Candidate

• Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA)
• 2+ years' PQE in financial accounting, reporting or analysis
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience working within a multinational or complex business environment
• Advanced Excel and financial systems knowledge
• SAP experience preferred
