Compliance Officer (Contract) – Dublin

Location: Dublin, Ireland

Contract Type: Fixed-Term Daily Rate Contract (Not a Permanent Position)

Duration: Approx. 6 Months

Day Rate: €300–€500 per day (depending on experience)

We are partnering with a leading organisation in Dublin to appoint a mid-level Compliance Officer on an initial 6-month contract basis. This opportunity is specifically suited to candidates seeking a contract/freelance assignment rather than a permanent role.

The successful candidate will support the wider compliance function across a broad range of regulatory and internal compliance activities, with particular focus on compliance monitoring, trade compliance, employee conduct, and gifts & entertainment oversight.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with the delivery and execution of the Compliance Monitoring Programme
• Conduct compliance reviews and testing across business activities and internal controls
• Support trade compliance oversight, including monitoring and escalation activities
• Review and assess employee compliance matters, including conflicts of interest and personal account dealing
• Manage and oversee gifts & entertainment registers and related approvals
• Assist with policy reviews, regulatory updates, and internal compliance reporting
• Support investigations, remediation actions, and ongoing compliance projects
• Liaise with stakeholders across Risk, Legal, Operations, and Front Office teams where required
• Maintain accurate compliance records and documentation

Required Experience

• Previous experience within a compliance role in financial services or a regulated environment
• Strong understanding of compliance monitoring and regulatory frameworks
• Exposure to trade compliance and employee compliance matters
• Experience managing gifts & entertainment processes and related governance
• Strong analytical and organisational skills
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

• This is a daily rate contract role only and is not a permanent opportunity
• Candidates must be available to work on-site in Dublin as required
• Immediate or short-notice availability would be advantageous
