Barden are delighted to be partnering with a leading biotech business in Cork to identify a Revenue Accountant to join their Global Revenue Accounting Team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experience Finance professional looking to further develop their experience in a dynamic, multinational environment. This person will play a key role in supporting revenue accounting activities as well as significant stakeholders engagement across Commercial, Legal, Tax and Finance functions globally.
The ideal candidate will be technically strong, detail-oriented and thrive in a fast-paced environment. Although an initial contract, there may be more longer-term opportunities for the right person.

ABOUT THE ROLE
• Support month-end and quarter-end close activities
• Assist in the review and analysis of commercial contracts to ensure appropriate revenue recognition treatment
• Partner with Commercial, Pricing, Legal, Tax and global Finance teams
• Support revenue reporting activities and provide insights to key stakeholders across the business.
• Assist with year-end financial audits, SOX compliance activities and SEC reporting requirements.
• Support ad hoc financial analysis and business queries as required.
• Identify and drive opportunities for process improvement and increased efficiencies across the revenue accounting function.
• Support ongoing projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
ABOUT THE PERSON
• Qualified Accountant with 5+ years PQE
• Strong technical accounting and analytical skills
• Working experience with ASC 606 is preferred
• Ability to prioritise workload to meet deadlines
• Motivated self-starter who enjoys working as part of a team
• Excellent communicator, people person
