Description BDO Ireland is expanding, and we are seeking a talented Valuations Manager to join our Modelling and Valuations Centre of Excellence in Limerick. This is a full-time, office-based role (with standard flexibility) offering a high-potential career development opportunity in one of Ireland’s most liveable cities. This is a high-impact role where the successful candidate can build a valuable and marketable personal brand as a highly skilled expert in the ever-growing field of valuations. You will also contribute to the development of junior colleagues and the Centre of Excellence as a whole. Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver stand-alone valuation assignments for reporting, audit, tax, and dispute resolution purposes
  • Provide expert valuation input into transaction support engagements, including:
  • Transaction and bid pricing
  • Quality of earnings evaluation
  • Economic impact analysis
  • Project appraisal
  • Prepare and review financial models, valuation reports, and supporting documentation
  • Collaborate closely with the Head of Valuations and senior stakeholders across the firm
  • Build a valuable and marketable personal brand as a highly skilled expert in valuations
  • Contribute to the development of junior colleagues and the Modelling & Valuations Centre of Excellence
  • Support the growth and positioning of the Centre of Excellence as a leading practice area
  • Engage with clients and stakeholders to deliver high-quality advisory services
  • Manage multiple assignments and deadlines effectively
  • Uphold the firm’s values and contribute to a positive team culture

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

  • ACA or ACCA qualified accountant
  • Minimum 3 years’ post qualified experience with a strong focus on and specific valuations experience
  • Ideally holds or is pursuing a specialist qualification in valuations (e.g. CFA, CBV, or similar)
  • Strong technical and analytical skills, particularly in financial modelling
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities
  • Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple assignments
  • Strong commercial awareness and problem-solving capabilities
  • Team player with ambition and enthusiasm
  • Interest in developing a specialist career in valuations
