Clerical Officer Grade III – Pathology Department
Specified Purpose Contract (21hrs/week Position)
Applications are invited for the specified purpose (maternity leave) 21hrs/week post of Clerical Officer Grade III at Bon Secours Hospital Tralee. We are looking to recruit a highly motivated & enthusiastic candidate. The position requires the successful candidate to provide a full secretarial/administrative service for the Histology Office.
The successful candidate must possess the following at a minimum:
· 2 years office/administration experience essential
· Excellent IT/typing skills essential
· Relevant secretarial certificate/diploma or equivalent desirable
· Experience in a healthcare environment desirable
· Knowledge of medical terminology desirable
· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills essential
· Excellent time management & ability to work to strict deadlines essential
· Ability to work on own initiative as well as being a team-player
· Flexibility and ability to multitask essential.
