Job Title:  Software Engineer III PIM Location: Cork, Ireland, Hybrid Role Overview We are seeking a Software Engineer III to join our newly forming Team. You will require a strong background in Java and React as well as full stack Ruby on Rails development. As a member of our global engineering team, you will be responsible for developing and deploying innovative software solutions. • Participate in the end-to-end development process, from requirements analysis to implementation and testing.
• Utilize Java & Ruby programming to design and optimize robust and maintainable code.
• Leverage AWS services, build cloud-native applications with scalability and performance in mind.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to coding standards.
• Leverage the latest Java & Ruby and AWS advancements, integrating new technologies into projects.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in Java development.
• 2+ years of hands-on experience in React development
• 2+ years of hands-on experience with Ruby on Rails development
• Experience in AWS services and cloud-based application development.
• Familiarity with REST API design and implementation.
• Familiarity with GraphQL API design and implementation.
• Familiarity with database systems, including both SQL and NoSQL within AWS.
• Familiarity with application security and authentication protocols is desirable.
• Experience working in Agile software development environments.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
