Field Services Engineer

We are hiring a Field Service Engineer on behalf of our client, a well-established Irish-owned distributor of technical equipment. This company provides essential support to leading organisations in the medical device, pharmaceutical, and electronics manufacturing sectors.

This is a field-based role with a company car provided and would ideally suit candidates located within a 1-hour drive of Kilkenny. The position will also involve supporting clients throughout Ireland.

Key Responsibilities

• Install and commission technical equipment
• Support commissioning & validation activities
• Provide scheduled and emergency maintenance support
• Set up and run customer trials
• Deliver technical support and troubleshooting both on-site and remotely

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Field Service Engineer (or similar technical service role)
• Third-level qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Instrumentation, or related discipline
• Strong problem-solving and customer service skills
• Full clean Irish driving licence (company vehicle provided)
• Valid employment permit to work in Ireland (if applicable)
• Willingness to travel to client sites across Ireland
