Your Impact We are seeking an experienced Account Executive to lead the engagement with key customers in Ireland. The customer base in question includes the largest customers in Ireland (8 in total) ranging across various sectors, half of which are aligned to Financial Services and Banking. Your primary responsibility will be to achieve sales targets, through supporting our Enterprise customers' evolving business and technology strategies, and ensuring their success by developing tailored solutions and propositions. You will collaborate with the extended sales teams and our partners to address our customers' biggest challenges and drive growth across all accounts. In this multifaceted role, you will

  • Focus on an outstanding customer experience and become their trusted advisor.
  • Develop and maintain CXO relationships across both IT & other lines of business.
  • Own, develop and lead the Cisco Enterprise Ireland Business Plan.
  • Plan and implement your sales strategy to meet the agreed achievements and timescales.
  • Work alongside a supportive and capable extended sales team across numerous client projects.
  • Work closely with the Cisco Partner team, to drive the strategy and delivery of new solutions and incremental revenue.
  • Anticipate any change in the opportunities, market, client needs and requirements that could impact the overall revenue target.
  • Deliver accurate business metrics, monthly forecasts, weekly commits and pipeline development reports.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 8+ years’ experience as an account manager/ executive or field sales role within the technology sector.
  • Experienced in leading complex sales cycles, strong skills in handling multiple internal and external stakeholders, drive demand generation, and develop business relationships.
  • Successful track record of growing market share and competitor displacement.
  • Experience in successfully consultancy led selling and a customer first approach.
  • Solid Understanding of Cisco’s portfolio and services capabilities and / or competitor knowledge.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Deep sector knowledge in Financial Services and in particular the Financial Services sector.
  • Experience in working with SI’s and Consultancy houses to help determine the best outcomes for our joint customers.
  • Strong technical and business interest/knowledge with complimentary skills to understand the customers’ business drivers and how technology plays a meaningful role.
  • Demonstrate the vital skills to negotiate challenges and solutions with peers, partners and customers using a Win/Win philosophy.
