Senior Cloud Platform Engineer(Open Stack)

We focus on platform management services, continuously evaluating infrastructure and operations to ensure efficiency and precision. Our expertise in IaaS and PaaS, combined with repeatable and portable delivery models, enables the rapid and secure deployment of applications. Within CCPS, the Cloud Software & Solutions (CSS) group designs and develops OpenStack and Kubernetes platform solutions with an emphasis on quality, stability, simplification, user experience, scalability, performance, and portability. We are looking for a Software Engineer to join our team and build scalable cloud-native applications and services. Your Impact

• Design, deploy, and maintain OpenStack private cloud solutions for data center infrastructure.
• Write and maintain Terraform scripts to automate compute, storage, and network resource provisioning.
• Develop Python scripts to automate cloud operations, workflows, and maintenance tasks.
• Monitor and optimize OpenStack environment performance and reliability.
• Troubleshoot platform issues and drive continuous improvements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support CI/CD pipelines.
• Maintain technical documentation and operational runbooks.

Minimum Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in OpenStack solution.
• Strong knowledge of OpenStack core components (Nova, Neutron, Cinder, Keystone, Glance).
• Hands-on experience with Terraform for infrastructure automation.
• Proficient in Python scripting for automation and tooling development.
• Solid understanding of Linux and data center networking fundamentals.
• Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub CI, or equivalent).
• Strong debugging and problem‑solving skills in large‑scale environments.
• Experience using AI‑assisted tools to improve engineering efficiency and quality.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with monitoring tools such as Prometheus or Grafana.
• Knowledge of networking protocols (BGP, VLAN, VXLAN).
• Familiarity with AWS cloud services and architecture.
• Working knowledge of Kubernetes (K8s) for container orchestration.
• Certified OpenStack Administrator (COA), Terraform Associate, AWS Solutions Architect, or CKA certification.
