Part-Time Accounts AssistantLocation: Limerick City Centre (Fully Onsite)

Looking for a part-time finance role with flexibility?

Limerick Twenty Thirty is seeking an experienced Accounts Assistant to join its Finance team on a part-time basis. This is an excellent opportunity for an organised finance professional looking for morning hours while remaining involved in a varied and hands-on finance role.

Limerick Twenty Thirty is transforming Limerick through the development of strategic commercial, residential and enterprise projects that support economic growth and urban regeneration. Working within a collaborative finance team, you'll play a key role in supporting the day-to-day financial operations of the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process supplier invoices and maintain supplier accounts.
  • Match purchase orders to invoices and resolve any discrepancies.
  • Apply the correct VAT treatment to invoices.
  • Prepare and issue customer invoices and maintain customer accounts.
  • Assist with supplier payment runs and bank reconciliations.
  • Support month-end finance activities and reporting.
  • Assist with Revenue compliance, including VAT, PSWT and RCT, where applicable.
  • Prepare documentation for audits and funding requirements.
  • Support payroll and pension reconciliations.
  • Provide general finance and administrative support across the business.

About You

You'll have:

  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in an Accounts Assistant or similar finance position.
  • Strong practical experience with VAT and day-to-day finance processes.
  • Experience using accounting software such as Sage, Xero, QuickBooks or similar.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills and proficiency across Microsoft 365.
  • Excellent attention to detail, organisational skills and the ability to work independently.

Desirable:

  • Experience with Relevant Contracts Tax (RCT), PSWT, or finance within the construction or property sector would be a distinct advantage.
