Details of the PostThe person appointed to this post will work as a Staff Grade Physiotherapist, contributing to the delivery of a high-quality physiotherapy service within Constellation Healthcare. As a Staff Grade Physiotherapist with Constellation Healthcare, you will work primarily in a unidisciplinary capacity delivering physiotherapy assessment and intervention, contributing to multidisciplinary assessment processes, and supporting patients through follow-up sessions and progress reviews. Purpose of the Post
- To provide a high-quality physiotherapy assessment and intervention service to children, adolescents, adults and older persons allocated to you.
- To contribute to assessments and treatment planning.
- To deliver evidence-based physiotherapy interventions in line with professional standards and organisational policies.
- To work under appropriate clinical supervision while developing professional skills and clinical expertise.
Clinical Responsibilities: Assessment & Treatment Delivery
- Participate in assessments as the Physiotherapy clinician, contributing discipline-specific assessment, observations, and clinical reasoning.
- Provide direct physiotherapy intervention where indicated, including individual or group-based sessions informed by assessment outcomes.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust intervention plans accordingly.
- Provide guidance and education to patients, families, and caregivers as appropriate.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation and reports.

Qualifying Criteria: Recognised Physiotherapy Qualification
- Bachelors degree (B.Sc. Physiotherapy) or Masters degree in Physiotherapy recognised by the Physiotherapists Registration Board at CORU.
- Registered on the Physiotherapists Register maintained by CORU to practise legally in Ireland.
- 2 years + post-qualification clinical experience appropriate to a Staff Grade role
- Experience working in paediatric, community physiotherapy, musculoskeletal practice, neurorehabilitation, or related clinical settings is desirable.
- Strong communication, organisational, and report-writing skills.
- Evidence of continuing professional development (CPD).
