We are currently partnering with a growing business in the aircraft leasing industry to recruit a Senior Financial Accountant to join their expanding finance team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a newly qualified accountant or someone with up to 5 years’ PQE looking to gain broad exposure within a high-performing international business. The role offers strong scope across financial reporting, commercial finance and investment-related activities, making it ideal for someone keen to develop beyond a traditional accounting position.
The company operates a hybrid working model with 2 days per week in the office.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparation of monthly and quarterly management accounts
- Financial reporting and statutory accounts preparation
- Support with audits and year-end processes
- Involvement in aircraft leasing transactions and investment activities
- Cashflow forecasting and balance sheet reconciliations
- Liaising with internal stakeholders and external service providers
- Supporting process improvement initiatives across the finance function
Candidate Profile
- Newly qualified accountant or up to 5 years’ PQE
- Big 4/Top 10 trained or industry-trained candidates considered
- Experience in aircraft leasing, aviation, financial services or investment management advantageous
- Strong technical accounting and analytical skills
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment
- Ambitious, adaptable and eager to take on broad responsibility
