Commercial Solar PV Sales Manager – National

We are seeking an experienced Sales Manager to support the continued growth of our commercial solar PV and distributed energy portfolio. This is a key role focused on driving sales performance, developing bespoke solar PV solutions, and strengthening long-term client relationships across Ireland. The Role

• Lead the full commercial sales cycle from initial enquiry through proposal, negotiation, contract signing, and handover
• Identify and develop opportunities with SMEs, corporates, and public-sector clients
• Build strong relationships with developers, architects, engineers, and key stakeholders
• Conduct site assessments and client consultations to assess technical and commercial feasibility
• Support solution design through interpretation of PV layouts, grid requirements, and yield data
• Collaborate with engineering and design teams using tools such as PVSol, PVSyst, or Helioscope
• Prepare and manage proposals, tenders, ROI models, and commercial contracts
• Track pipeline activity and sales performance via CRM
• Contribute to commercial strategy, market engagement, and continuous sales process improvement

Requirements

• Degree in Engineering, Renewable Energy, Electrical Engineering, or related discipline
• 3–5+ years’ experience in technical sales or business development within solar PV, renewables, or engineering services
• Strong understanding of solar PV systems, components, and grid connections
• Proven experience managing tenders, bids, and contract negotiations
• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
• Full clean driving licence and willingness to travel nationally
• Right to work in Ireland
