Integrations Engineer – Payments / POS

We’re hiring an experienced Integrations Engineer to lead third‑party integrations for cutting‑edge payment applications in the POS terminal space. If you have strong API expertise and deep experience in payment systems, this role offers the chance to shape secure, scalable solutions used by global clients. Please note this is an onsite role in Nenagh Co. Tipperary.What You’ll Do

• Own end‑to‑end third‑party integrations for payment terminals
• Define integration strategy and roadmap
• Lead API/SDK integration, technical design, testing & certification
• Ensure compliance with EMV, PCI DSS and industry standards
• Work with vendors, product, engineering & QA to deliver seamless solutions
• Improve integration processes and reduce time‑to‑market

What You’ll Bring

• 5–8+ years’ experience in payment systems, POS or payment app development
• Strong API Gateway design + OpenAPI/Swagger documentation skills
• Experience with REST or GraphQL API development
• Solid knowledge of API security, performance & scalability best practices
• Working knowledge of Java for backend integration work
• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
