Business Development Manager – Salt Solutions(Ireland)Location: Ireland (Nationwide territory – travel required)Employment Type: Full-time, PermanentOverview We are seeking a high-performing Business Development Manager (BDM) to drive growth of SALT-based industrial and water treatment solutions across Ireland. This role focuses on winning new business across a wide range of technical and industrial sectors where Salt products are used in water treatment, process optimisation, cleaning systems, and industrial applications. This is a hunter-style commercial role, requiring strong technical sales ability, solution selling, and the capability to engage with plant managers, procurement teams, and senior decision-makers Key Responsibilities

• Drive new business development for Salt solutions across Ireland
• Own the full sales cycle: prospecting, qualification, solution design, negotiation, and closing
• Build and manage a strong pipeline of industrial and enterprise customers
• Develop tailored solutions based on customer process and technical requirements
• Engage with technical, operational, and executive stakeholders
• Deliver presentations, demonstrations, and value-based proposals
• Work closely with engineering, technical support, and operations teams
• Maintain accurate forecasting, reporting, and CRM discipline
• Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and technical conferences
• Achieve and exceed revenue and margin targets

Required Experience & Skills

• 5+ years’ experience in B2B technical or industrial sales
• Strong background in solution selling or consultative sales
• Experience selling into industrial, manufacturing, or process-driven environments
• Ability to engage engineers, plant operators, and procurement teams
• Strong commercial negotiation and closing skills
• Proven track record of exceeding sales targets
• Highly self-motivated and comfortable working a national territory
• Strong technical understanding (or ability to quickly learn complex processes)
• Full clean driving licence

Desirable Experience

• Water treatment, chemicals, industrial gases, or process engineering sales
• Experience in regulated industries (pharma, food, beverage, utilities)
• Existing network in Irish industrial or manufacturing sectors
