Our client is a well-established and growing organisation operating within the transport, logistics and supply chain sector. Due to continued growth, they are seeking an ambitious and commercially focused Sales Executive to join their commercial team. This is an excellent opportunity for a customer-focused sales professional who enjoys developing long-term client relationships, identifying growth opportunities and contributing to business success. The Role As Sales Executive, you will manage a portfolio of existing clients while identifying and developing new business opportunities. You will play a key role in growing account revenues, strengthening customer relationships and ensuring a high level of service delivery. Key Responsibilities
- Manage and develop a portfolio of customer accounts.
- Build strong relationships and act as a primary point of contact for clients.
- Drive revenue growth, increase account volumes and maximise profitability.
- Identify and secure new business opportunities.
- Ensure a high standard of customer service and account support.
- Prepare account reviews and commercial performance reports.
- Maintain accurate account administration and support billing processes.
- Support pricing enquiries and commercial requests.
- Monitor market developments and identify emerging opportunities.
- Work closely with operational and customer service teams to deliver an excellent customer experience.
About You You will be a commercially minded sales professional with strong relationship management skills and a passion for delivering results. Skills & Experience
- Experience in sales, account management, business development or commercial client-facing roles.
- Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills.
- A proactive approach to identifying and converting new business opportunities.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Analytical and commercially aware mindset.
- Experience using CRM systems and Microsoft Office applications.
- Experience within logistics, freight, transport, supply chain or related sectors would be advantageous but is not essential.
