Highly experienced analytical chemist responsible for advanced testing, method development, and laboratory investigations within a regulated environment. Plays a key role in ensuring data integrity, supporting cross-functional activities, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. Responsibilities

  • Performs analytical testing on drug and combination products using chromatographic, spectroscopic, and wet chemistry techniques
  • Leads analytical method development and validation in line with regulatory expectations
  • Conducts laboratory investigations ensuring timely closure and accurate root cause analysis
  • Interprets and reports analytical data, including trending and generation of technical reports
  • Collaborates with cross-functional teams including Quality, Supply Chain, Operations, Finance, and Engineering to support site objectives
  • Provides technical support for instrumentation and analytical methods, including troubleshooting activities
  • Drives continuous improvement initiatives to reduce testing lead times and deliver cost efficiencies
  • Plans and schedules laboratory activities independently to meet project timelines
  • Supports onboarding and training of new team members
  • Participates in internal and external audit activities
  • Contributes to regulatory submissions through provision of analytical data and technical input

Requirements

  • Extensive experience in analytical chemistry within a regulated pharmaceutical or life sciences environment
  • Strong expertise in chromatographic and spectroscopic techniques and method validation
  • Proven experience in laboratory investigations and data interpretation
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and quality standards (e.g. GMP)
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting capabilities
  • Experience collaborating across multidisciplinary teams
  • Excellent technical reporting and communication skills
