Supply Chain Specialist

Our client, a well-established organisation within the industrial and manufacturing sector, is seeking an experienced Supply Chain Specialist to join their team in Cork. This role plays a critical part in ensuring the efficient, compliant, and cost-effective movement of materials across the end-to-end supply chain. This role will take ownership of logistics, procurement, inventory management, and planning activities, supporting both day-to-day operations and continuous improvement initiatives across the business. Key Responsibilities

• Develop a strong understanding of the full supply chain, from raw material sourcing to final customer delivery
• Coordinate inbound and outbound transport, ensuring timely and cost-effective shipment of goods
• Act as the primary contact for logistics partners, managing daily shipment planning and issue resolution
• Prepare and manage shipping, customs, and export documentation in line with regulatory requirements
• Monitor inventory levels, maintain ERP master data, and coordinate stock movements
• Support warehouse and dispatch operations to ensure on-time delivery performance
• Contribute to supply planning, aligning inventory with production and customer demand
• Develop and manage KPI reporting to track supply chain performance

Knowledge, Skills & Experience

• Degree qualified in Supply Chain, Business, or a related discipline
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in supply chain, logistics, or planning roles
• Proven ability to problem-solve and drive process improvements
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
• A proactive, solution-oriented mindset with a focus on continuous improvement
