Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical leadership and sustaining engineering support within a manufacturing environment
- Identify, recommend, and implement process and equipment improvements to enhance:
- Product quality
- Manufacturing efficiency
- Yield and cost-effectiveness
- Lead the development, optimisation, and transfer of new manufacturing processes, including:
- Feasibility studies and concept development
- Material and equipment selection
- Tooling, fixtures, and installation
- Collaborate closely with product design and R&D teams to ensure alignment between product requirements and manufacturing capabilities
- Conduct in-depth technical analysis, including statistical evaluation and process validation, to support data-driven decision-making
- Develop and implement Statistical Process Control (SPC) methodologies and measurement systems
- Ensure all processes and procedures comply with regulatory and quality standards
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives and introduce innovative manufacturing technologies

- Operate as a seasoned individual contributor, working independently with minimal supervision
- Lead projects end-to-end, defining technical approaches and delivering results

- Solve complex, multi-disciplinary engineering challenges

- Engage with senior stakeholders, cross-functional teams, and external partners
- Influence decisions through technical expertise and strong communication
Leadership
- Mentor and coach junior engineers
- Lead project teams, delegating tasks and reviewing outputs
What You’ll Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related discipline
- Significant experience in process engineering within a regulated manufacturing environment (medical devices preferred)
- Strong knowledge of:
- Manufacturing processes and equipment
- Process validation and statistical analysis
- Regulatory requirements (e.g. GMP, ISO standards)
- Proven ability to:
- Lead technical projects and deliver results
- Analyse complex data and implement effective solutions
- Collaborate across functions and influence stakeholders
- Experience with project management methodologies is an advantage
