Role Description

We are hiring a full-time Research and Development Specialist for an on-site role at our Waterford facility. The Research and Development Specialist will be responsible for conducting in-depth research, analyzing data, and developing innovative solutions for aviation component repair and overhaul. Key responsibilities include testing and perfecting laboratory and engineering processes, collaborating with internal teams to resolve technical challenges, and contributing to product and service innovation for improved reliability.

Qualifications

  • Proficient in Research and Development (R&D) and capable of leading innovation projects
  • Strong Analytical Skills and the ability to assess and interpret complex data
  • Effective Communication skills for presenting findings and collaborating with teams
  • Competence in Research and Laboratory Skills for testing and development
  • Third Level degree or higher in Engineering, Science, or a related field
  • Experience in the aviation or aerospace sector is a plus
  • Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving capabilities
  • Adaptability to work in a dynamic on-site environment in Waterford
