CS Consulting is expanding our Limerick office and we're looking for an experienced Senior Civil Engineer to lead the delivery of civil engineering projects across Ireland.
This is an opportunity for a well-rounded civil engineer with broad experience across roads, drainage, water services/utilities (including foul) and traffic engineering, who enjoys leading projects, building strong client relationships and mentoring others.
Working alongside our multidisciplinary teams, you'll take ownership of projects from concept through construction, delivering practical infrastructure solutions across residential, commercial, public sector and infrastructure developments while helping shape the continued growth of our Limerick office.
What You'll Work On
You'll contribute to a varied and engaging portfolio of projects, including:
- Private residential developments (low-rise and high-rise)
- Public sector housing schemes for Local Authorities and the Land Development Agency (LDA)
- Commercial office developments
- Hotels and hospitality projects
- Industrial and manufacturing facilities
- Data centre developments
- Healthcare and education projects
- Refurbishment and adaptive reuse of existing buildings
- Commercial fit-out and refurbishment projects
As a Senior Civil Engineer, you'll lead projects through all stages of delivery, working closely with clients, architects, contractors, local authorities and multidisciplinary design teams to deliver high-quality engineering solutions
- Lead projects from feasibility and planning through detailed design and construction.
- Design and coordinate roads, drainage, water services, utilities and site infrastructure.
- Prepare engineering reports, planning documentation, technical submissions and tender packages.
- Manage client relationships and coordinate with local authorities, statutory bodies and contractors.
- Lead project meetings and coordinate multidisciplinary design teams.
- Undertake site inspections and support construction-stage delivery.
- Mentor and support junior engineers.
- Degree in Civil Engineering (Level 8 or higher).
- Minimum five years' relevant experience, including experience within an Irish engineering consultancy.
- Broad civil engineering experience across roads, drainage, water services/utilities (foul) and traffic engineering.
- Experience delivering projects from planning through construction.
- Strong project leadership, coordination and client-facing experience.
- Good knowledge of Irish design standards, including Uisce Éireann, TII and DMURS.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Full driving licence.
- Chartered Engineer (CEng MIEI) or working towards Chartership (desirable)
- Experience with Civil 3D, AutoCAD and InfoDrainage (or equivalent) (desirable)
