Our Client
Our client is a highly regarded and growing Professional Services firm with a strong presence in the mid-market. As part of its continued expansion, the firm is strengthening its Corporate Turnaround capability and is seeking a senior Director to lead operational turnaround engagements across stressed businesses.

Who should apply?
This role will suit an experienced corporate turnaround professional with a track record of delivering operational restructuring and performance improvement in stressed environments. The ideal candidate will have:
- Experience as a Corporate Turnaround Director, Chief Restructuring Officer (CRO), or similar senior transformation role
- Strong background in operational restructuring rather than insolvency-led assignments
- Experience working as an advisor, interim executive or contractor in high-pressure environments
- Proven ability to design and execute aggressive change programmes within tight timelines
- Strong commercial judgement and confidence operating at Board and lender level
Role and Reporting Lines
Reporting to the senior leadership team, this Director will lead discrete, high-pressure engagements across a portfolio of stressed businesses. Responsibilities will include:
- Turnaround Strategy – Rapid assessment of business performance and development of actionable turnaround plans
- Operational Restructuring – Leading cost reduction, process redesign and performance improvement initiatives
- Liquidity & Cash Management – Stabilising short-term cash flow and implementing robust financial controls
- Stakeholder Management – Engaging with Boards, lenders and investors to restore confidence and alignment
- Change Leadership – Driving aggressive transformation programmes with clear milestones and accountability
- Performance Monitoring – Establishing KPIs and governance frameworks to track recovery progress
- Interim Leadership – Acting in senior operational roles where required to stabilise and reposition the business
- Exit Readiness – Preparing businesses for refinancing, sale or return to sustainable growth
