Our client is a leading global business with an opportunity for an experienced and commercially focused finance professional to join its senior leadership team as a Divisional CFO.
Operating across multiple international markets, the business is going through an exciting period of growth and transformation. This is a senior leadership position with responsibility for the financial performance of a significant division within the Group.

This opportunity will suit a senior finance professional with strong commercial instincts and experience operating within a large, complex organisation. Relevant experience is likely to include:
- Qualified accountant with significant post-qualification experience
- Experience operating at Head of Finance, Divisional/Regional Finance Director, Head of FP&A, Financial Controller or equivalent level
- Strong commercial finance and business partnering experience
- Experience within manufacturing, industrial or another operationally intensive environment would be particularly relevant
- Responsibility for the financial performance of a significant business, division or region
- Strong budgeting, forecasting, financial planning and performance management experience
- Experience working across multiple sites, business units or geographies
- Proven ability to partner with and influence senior operational and commercial stakeholders
- Strong leadership capabilities with experience managing and developing finance teams
- Experience of business transformation, integration, M&A or significant organisational change would be advantageous
Role and Reporting Lines
As a key member of the divisional leadership team, the Divisional CFO will take responsibility for the financial leadership and performance of the division. The position will involve:
- Divisional Leadership - Acting as a key member of the divisional leadership team and providing financial and commercial input into the strategic direction of the business
- Financial Performance - Taking ownership of divisional financial performance, with a particular focus on revenue, profitability, cash generation and return on investment
- Commercial Business Partnering - Working closely with senior operational and commercial leaders to challenge performance and support better decision-making
- Planning & Forecasting - Leading the budgeting, forecasting and longer-term strategic planning processes across the division
- Performance Management - Providing high-quality analysis and insight into business performance and identifying opportunities to improve margins, productivity and profitability
- Operational Finance - Working closely with operational teams to understand and improve the financial performance of individual businesses, sites and markets
- Cash & Working Capital - Driving strong cash conversion and working capital management across the division
- Investment & Capital Allocation - Supporting the evaluation of capital expenditure, investment opportunities and other strategic initiatives
- Transformation & Growth - Supporting business transformation, integration, acquisition and wider growth initiatives as the organisation continues to develop
- Finance Leadership - Leading and developing finance teams across the division and ensuring finance is viewed as a genuine commercial partner to the business
- Group Collaboration - Working closely with Group Finance and other senior stakeholders to ensure divisional priorities are aligned with the wider strategic objectives of the organisation
