An excellent opportunity for an experienced Procurement Manager to join an established organisation with a strong operational focus. This is a broad role offering responsibility for procurement, supplier relationships, commercial negotiations and inventory, with the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on business performance.
- Manage purchasing activities from supplier sourcing and quotation through to order placement and delivery.
- Develop and maintain strong supplier relationships, ensuring competitive pricing, quality and reliable service.
- Lead commercial negotiations and identify opportunities to improve value, reduce costs and strengthen supplier performance.
- Work closely with internal stakeholders to understand requirements, plan purchasing activity and resolve supply-related issues.
- Monitor procurement activity and inventory levels, producing reports and identifying opportunities for process and operational improvements.
- 5+ years' experience in procurement or supply chain management, ideally within a fast-paced operational environment.
- Strong commercial awareness with proven negotiation and supplier relationship management skills.
- Excellent organisation and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the confidence to work across different areas of the business.
- A relevant third-level qualification in Procurement, Supply Chain, Business, Engineering or a related discipline would be advantageous.
