As part of our continued growth and expansion, we are seeking an Inventory Control Specialist to join our team.

Reports to - Purchasing Manager

Key Responsibilies

  • Inventory Management: Oversee, monitor and accurately record all stock movements, including goods received and dispatched. Maintain high levels of inventory acuracy across all systems.
  • Systems & Processes: Evaluate current business inventory processes. Design, implement and maintain SOP's aligned with company strategy. Ensure effective training and adoption of SOP's across relevent teams.
  • Auditing & Reporting: Perform weekly cycle counts, full stock takes and investigate stock discrepancies to ensure accurate inventory. Produce weekly and monthly inventory reports to support senior management with decision making.
  • Storage Facilities: Work closely with the Warehouse Manager and Operations Team to ensure safe, efficient and well organised storage practices. Optimise use of existing warehouse space and storage facilities.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Experience: 2-3 years in warehouse stock management.
  • Technical Proficiency: Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and specialised inventory management systems.
  • Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical skills with the abiltiy to interpret data and identify improvements for better forcasting and efficiency.
  • Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail in record-keeping to minimise discrepancies.
  • Effective communicator with the ability to collaborate across departments
