About the Role

The Technical Sales Specialist will be responsible for driving sales growth through the specification and promotion of our lighting products to architects, consulting engineers, lighting designers, specifiers, and electrical installers. This role combines technical design expertise (30%) with business development and relationship management (70%), requiring a professional who can both design and sell complex lighting solutions.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage relationships with M&E contractors, architects, consulting engineers, and specifiers to secure product specifications and project opportunities.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the commercial, architectural, and industrial lighting sectors.
• Prepare and deliver technical proposals, product presentations, and lighting designs to meet client requirements.
• Write and coordinate tenders, bids, and quotations, ensuring technical accuracy and commercial competitiveness.
• Collaborate with internal engineering and design teams to ensure optimal solutions are proposed and delivered.
• Manage the sales process from lead generation through to project closure and after-sales support.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and emerging technologies to inform strategic sales planning.
• Achieve and exceed sales targets and performance KPIs.
