As the first manufacturer of wind turbines, the company used a gearless drive concept that is a characteristic of all ENERCON wind turbines. ENERCON is also at the forefront in other areas, such as rotor blade design, control technology, grid connection technology, and with its wide range of technological new developments, proves its innovative strength time and again. Innovative ideas are the hallmark of our successes and move us on. We are passionate about realizing wind energy projects across the globe and meeting tomorrow's energy technology challenges. You and your engagement can contribute to shape the future of renewable energies. Passionate about wind turbines and working at heights? Join ENERCON as a Major Component Exchange Technician and play a key role in maintaining and upgrading onshore wind projects. You’ll work on challenging component exchanges, ensure safety at all times, and contribute to the reliability and performance of our turbines. • Inspect and verify components to uphold ENERCON’s stringent manufacturing and quality standards.
  • Handle mechanical installation tasks for turbine updates and installation projects with precision and care.
  • Coordinate effectively with subcontractors to ensure smooth project execution and adherence to timelines.
  • Adapt to additional duties as directed by the MCR Manager or Team Leader to support project success.

Experience and Qualifications:

  • Full, clean driving licence and access to your own vehicle.
  • Previous experience on wind farm sites is highly advantageous.
  • Trade qualification (Carpenter, Mechanic) or strong construction background preferred.
  • Valid Safe Pass Card is essential.
  • Additional certifications such as Banksman/Slinger, CSCS Card, Telescopic Loader Ticket, and/or MEWP are a distinct advantage.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications for reporting and documentation.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage workload effectively and meet deadlines.
  • Physically fit and comfortable working at heights in challenging conditions.
  • High mobility and flexibility – willingness to travel nationwide and internationally as required.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Positive, proactive team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
