Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Work Schedule: Office based in Annacotty, with time spent regularly traveling to sites as needed. Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM (Flexible working hours available).

As an Energy Engineer, you will join a team passionate about energy efficiency, working alongside experienced professionals who are dedicated to enhancing energy performance across Ireland. Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct BER assessments for residential properties across Ireland.
• Perform on-site inspections, collect data and input information into DEAP software to generate energy ratings.
• Assist in preparing detailed BER reports and recommending energy efficiency measures.
• Work closely with senior assessors and other team members to ensure accuracy and efficiency in assessments.
• Stay updated on the latest building regulations and energy efficiency standards.
• Conduct air tightness testing, ventilation validation and other engineering field services as required. All training and certification will be provided.
Education & Qualifications:
• Minimum Level 6 qualification in engineering, architecture or construction related field.
• Experience with 2D CAD software is essential.
Experience & Skills:
• Full Irish driver’s license with no penalty points.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Willingness to travel regionally for on-site assessments multiple days per week.
• Eager to expand knowledge in energy assessment and sustainability, staying updated on the latest building regulations and energy efficiency standards.
