Our client a well-known and successful large, big box DIY, Electrical and outdoor retail store in Tipperary, is seeking to recruit an energetic and commercially driven Retail Sales Manager to join the team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a strong retail manager, ideally from an electrical or similar background, who is passionate about driving sales, margin and customer engagement.

Locations commutable to Clonmel, Thurlas, Limerick, Waterford, Kilkenny, Portlaoise & surrounding areas

The Role

As Retail Sales Manager , you will take ownership of key departments, including DIY, Electrical, Flooring and outdoor, leading from the front while managing a small sales team. You will be responsible for driving performance, delivering an excellent customer experience and contributing to overall business growth.

Key Responsibilities for the role of Retail Sales Manager include the following

• Drive sales and maximise margin across key product categories
• Lead, motivate and develop a small retail team
• Deliver exceptional customer service and lead by example on the shop floor
• Manage KPIs including sales targets, ATV and attachment sales
• Maintain high standards of merchandising, stock control and store presentation
• Identify opportunities to grow sales and improve performance

Skills and experience required include the following

• Proven retail sales management experience (electrical/appliances/DIY or similar preferred)
• Strong track record of achieving sales targets and increasing sales
• A natural leader with excellent people skills
• Commercially focused with a passion for retail
• Energetic, hands-on and customer-focused
