• Experience in Cards & Payments domain with a strong focus on POS-based transaction
• Testing, including chip, magnetic stripe, contactless, and fallback flows using ISO 8583 standards.
• Performed end-to-end POS transaction testing including Sale, Refund, Void, Cashback, and Tip Adjustment.
• Tested both retail (inventory-linked) and non-retail (standalone) POS terminal payment scenarios.
• Validated chip, magnetic stripe, and contactless (NFC) card transactions on POS devices.
• Verified EMV, PIN entry, CVV, transaction timeout, and fallback scenarios across POS terminals.
• Conducted terminal configuration and boarding including TID/MID setup,parameter download,&firmware updates.
• Performed acquiring host certification for Visa, MasterCard, RuPay, Amex, and Diners for POS transactions.
• Validated ISO 8583 messages for authorization, reversal, refund, and settlement through acquirer switch.
• Tested routing logic, BIN configurations, and fallback to alternate host in switch environment.
• Verified POS transaction logs for successful and failed transactions during UAT and certification.
• Conducted POS settlement testing including EOD batch, settlement file validation, and reconciliation.
• Performed exception handling tests for duplicate, failed, and partial settlement scenarios.
• Supported production deployment and validation of POS devices and features across merchant locations.
• Executed POS device testing across various models including Verifone, Ingenico, and PaxA910 terminals.
• Tested value-added services on POS such as loyalty points, discounts, DCC, cashback, and EMI options.
