NPI Manager

Summary of role

To oversee the successful introduction of a portfolio of new products to site, ensuring customer and company expectations are met in full.

Responsibilities:

• Support the Product Evaluation Process where required in conjunction with the RFP Manager, Engineering and MS&T departments.
• Provide project management leadership and monitor progress against project milestones. Where appropriate take action to ensure that project milestones are met with appropriate escalation.
• Establish site project plan, elaborate scientifically sound technical strategies with project team, develop contingency plans, identify hurdles and propose solutions.
• Provide updates to internal and external stakeholders via governance meetings, steering committee meetings and global NPI meetings.
• Act as the point of contact between the customer and the site, co-ordinate customer visits to site, run joint team meetings and issue minutes.

Requirements:

• BSc. in Engineering, Chemistry or equivalent scientific degree.
• 6+ years of relevant experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing; comprehensive know how in pharmaceutical technology, project management experience.
• Experience of technology transfer, scale-up and manufacture of new products from external customers is preferred.
