About Your New Job

• Guide engineers and technicians to ensure stable, efficient, and compliant manufacturing processes.
• Address complex equipment, tooling, process, or material issues with advanced analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Drive improvements in efficiency, quality, and manufacturability.
• Utilise Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and other structured methodologies.
• Implement effective and sustainable corrective and preventive actions (ERs/CAPAs).
• Ensure compliance with IQ, OQ, PQ protocols.
• Provide oversight for the development and implementation of manufacturing SOPs, work instructions, visual standards, and test methods:

What Skills You Need

• NFQ Level 8 Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Manufacturing, Biomedical or related discipline)
• 6 - 9 years hands-on experience in the medical device industry, with leadership and mentoring roles.
• Advanced knowledge of medical device quality standards including ISO 13485, MDR, and FDA requirements.
• Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proven leadership and mentoring skills
• Strategic ownership of process improvement methodologies in process improvement tools such as Lean, Six Sigma (Green Belt is an advantage).
• Excellent communication, presentation, and documentation skills
• Strong project management skills
• Ability to influence and drive change
