Operational Support Specialist

Ready to make a real impact on site sustainability and compliance? Our client, a global pharmaceutical organisation is hiring an Operational Support Specialist to join their Production team on a permanent basis.

Responsibilities:

• Take ownership of waste treatment, emissions control, and environmental systems across the site.
• Manage waste disposal and shipment compliance, including composting, recycling, and TFS requirements.
• Oversee IPPC licence obligations and act as a key contact for EPA reporting and correspondence.
• Support energy management and sustainability initiatives, helping drive efficiency and improvement.

Requirements:

• Degree in Environmental Science, Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent relevant industry experience.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role within the pharma, biopharma, or manufacturing industry (experience from other regulated industries also considered).
• Strong knowledge of environmental compliance, waste management processes, and IPPC/EPA reporting.
