Senior Project Manager– CMO API Projects

Lead the delivery of large-scale capital projects within a GMP-regulated pharmaceutical manufacturing environment, with a focus on external manufacturing partners.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead full project lifecycle from concept through design, construction, CQV, and handover
• Manage capital projects executed via CMOs and EPC/EPCM partners
• Ensure compliance with cGMP, GxP, EHS, and engineering standards
• Oversee project controls including cost, schedule, risk, and governance
• Coordinate cross-functional teams across engineering, quality, validation, and supply chain

Requirements

• Degree in Engineering (Chemical, Process, Mechanical or similar)
• 10–15+ years delivering capital projects in pharma/biotech environments
• Strong knowledge of API manufacturing, GMP, and validation principles
• Proven experience managing complex stakeholder environments and external partners
