Qualified Accountant

We are seeking to hire a Part-Qualified/Qualified Accountant in our Kinsale, office. Full time hours: 35 hrs per week (in office work only). Working hours areMonday- Thursday 9am to 5pm,Friday 9am-4pm. Responsibilities

• Management of multiple jobs ensuring the key objectives are delivered as required and in a timely manner
• Experience of preparing and/or reviewing of VAT, PAYE, income tax & corporation tax returns.
• Liaise with clients on queries relating to Revenue requirements, Companies Registration Office (CRO) filings, and Irish GAAP/FRS 102/FRS 105
• Preparation and review of financial statements
• Compliance with Irish tax legislation, filing deadlines, and regulatory standards.
• The use of Sage Accounts Production and SAGE Line 50.

Candidate Profile

• Resident of Ireland
• 2 to 3 years experience in Irish Accounting practice (Essential)
• Have excellent communication & interpersonal skills with the ability to build effective working relationships with clients on your portfolio
• Self-motivation and capability of working on your own initiative
• Strong organisational and time management skills
• Committed to obtaining a professional qualification
• Be a natural team player, comfortable working closely in a team environment
• Ability to work well under pressure, prioritise tasks and focus on meeting deadlines
• Experience of payroll
