Job Description Summary We’re looking for a talented and driven Senior HR Partner to join our Ireland HR team and play a pivotal role at our GE HealthCare site in Cork. This is a on‑site position, where you’ll be the senior HR presence supporting teams across Cork, Dublin, and remote locations nationwide. If you enjoy combining strategic impact with hands‑on partnership, this role offers a perfect blend of both. This is a fixed‑term role for up to 18 months, depending on the successful candidate’s availability. In this role, you’ll partner closely with teams across Quality Operations, Engineering, Logistics, Sales & Services, and the broader Pharmaceutical Diagnostics (PDx) Ireland organisation. Beyond Ireland, you’ll also contribute to exciting cross‑functional global initiatives across Integrated Supply Chain, Quality, and Regulatory Affairs. You’ll have the opportunity to be involved in multi‑site and global project work, helping to connect the Cork site with wider PDx transformation, capability building, and process‑optimisation efforts. As a trusted HR partner, you’ll support leaders, managers, and employees across a range of organisational and people matters. You’ll bring expertise in HR processes, offer thoughtful coaching, and help create a positive, high‑performance culture where people feel supported and empowered. ResponsibilitiesJob DescriptionSite HR Partnership & Senior Point of Contact
- Serve as the senior HR representative on-site in Cork, providing guidance, support, and escalation management for leaders and employees.
- Offer strategic and operational HR partnership to Quality Operations, Engineering, Logistics, Sales & Services, and other aligned teams.
- Maintain a strong on-site presence to ensure leaders have accessible, consistent HR support.
HR Business Partnering
- Deliver expertise across employee relations, talent management, performance, total rewards, and recruitment, partnering with COE teams where required.
- Coach and develop frontline and mid-level leaders, strengthening capability in performance management, development conversations, and team effectiveness.
- Support cyclical talent processes including 9-box, succession planning, performance calibration, and development planning.
Employee Engagement & Culture
- Champion employee engagement initiatives and partner with leaders to improve communication, morale, and connection.
- Build trusted relationships across all levels of the organisation, acting as a visible and approachable HR partner.
- Support the execution of Ireland-wide engagement actions and local site initiatives.
HR Operations & Process Excellence
- Ensure consistent, compliant, high-quality HR operations and employee lifecycle activities.
- Identify continuous improvement opportunities and support implementation of enhanced HR processes.
- Collaborate with the Ireland HR team to support policy updates, standardisation, and annual HR programmes.
Projects & Organisational Change
- Lead and contribute to HR projects and organisational changes impacting Cork and aligned business units.
- Support change management activities, partnering with leaders to prepare teams and maintain strong communication.
- Partner closely with Integrated Supply Chain, Quality, and Regulatory Affairs teams to support global people project delivery, process optimisation with a significant focus on data and metrics
Qualifications & Experience
- Level 8 business-related degree, preferably in HR; a Master’s degree is desirable or equivalent
- Strong experience in an HR Partner or senior generalist role.
- Proven background in employee relations, leadership coaching, and supporting operational or manufacturing environments.
- Experience with talent processes, including succession planning, performance cycles, and capability development.
- Strong influencing skills with the ability to operate independently in a senior on-site HR role.
- CIPD qualification (Chartered or working toward) or equivalent HR credential.
