WORKING ENVIRONMENT & PROJECTS
You will be joining an experienced commercial team working across a diverse range of live projects in the West of Ireland. Project values reach up to €20 million, spanning sectors including commercial builds, residential developments, educational facilities and industrial works — providing genuine variety and a strong platform for professional growth.

As Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will have a direct influence on commercial outcomes across multiple projects simultaneously. You will work closely with project managers, site teams, subcontractors and clients, providing a well-rounded and commercially stimulating experience from procurement through to final account.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead cost control, commercial reporting and financial oversight across multiple concurrent projects
- Contribute to the commercial leadership team, supporting strategic project decisions and mentoring junior surveyors
- Prepare and manage contract documentation across PWC and RIAI forms of contract, including subcontractor packages and payment certs
- Evaluate, negotiate and administer subcontractor tenders, variations and claims
- Lead procurement strategy including supplier negotiations, terms management and timely ordering
- Carry out site valuations and ensure commercial compliance with ISO and IMS standards
- Provide accurate monthly cost reporting and support commercial scorecard submissions
- Collaborate closely with site teams to align commercial management with project milestones and delivery schedules
WHAT YOU NEED
- Degree-qualified Quantity Surveyor with a minimum of 5 years' experience, ideally within a main contracting environment
- Proven expertise in commercial management, contract administration (PWC and RIAI) and cost control
- Strong working knowledge of subcontractor account management and procurement processes
- In-depth understanding of Irish construction regulations, industry standards and best practices
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with Cubit, Procore or Asta is an advantage
- Excellent negotiation, leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to manage multiple stakeholder relationships
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities, with a clear and professional approach to reporting and correspondence
