Key Responsibilities
Marketing
- Assist in delivering the annual marketing plan across all business segments.
- Coordinate digital marketing campaigns with external agencies and internal stakeholders.
- Manage website content updates and ensure accuracy of promotional messaging.
- Support social media planning and content creation while maintaining brand consistency.
- Coordinate photography, video, promotional collateral, and advertising materials.
- Assist with public relations opportunities, media visits, and influencer collaborations.
- Develop email marketing campaigns and promotional communications.
- Monitor campaign performance and provide regular reporting and recommendations.
- Ensure all marketing materials reflect the luxury positioning and brand standards of the hotel.
Administrative Tasks.
- Produce weekly and monthly reports.
- Track sales performance against agreed KPIs.
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and commercial planning.
- Support revenue-generating initiatives across all hotel departments.
- Work closely with Reservations, Revenue, Front Office, Food & Beverage, Events, and Golf teams to maximise business opportunities.
- Maintain a strong understanding of market trends and customer behaviour.
Guest & Brand Experience
- Act as an ambassador for Glenlo Abbey Hotel & Estate at all times.
- Deliver exceptional customer service to clients and partners.
- Ensure all communications reflect the hotel's luxury brand standards.
Person Specification
Skills Required
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in hospitality marketing, or a similar commercial role.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organisational and project management abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Experience using CRM systems and hotel property management systems.
- Strong digital marketing and social media knowledge.
- Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a team.
Desirable
- Experience within a luxury or five-star hotel environment.
- Knowledge of the Irish hospitality and tourism market.
- Familiarity with digital marketing platforms, Canva, Meta Business Suite, Google Analytics, and email marketing software.
