Civil Site Engineer Civil Contractor
A leading civil engineering contractor is seeking a Civil Site Engineer for a major project in Waterford City.
The successful candidate will be responsible for setting out and coordinating civil engineering works on site, working closely with the Project Manager, Site Manager and subcontractors to ensure the project is delivered safely, on programme and to specification.
Key Responsibilities:
- Setting out and surveying civil engineering works
- Setting out foundations, drainage, roads, utilities and external works
- Reading and interpreting drawings and specifications
- Carrying out levels, surveys and as-built records
- Coordinating subcontractors and monitoring progress
- Ensuring works meet quality, programme and H&S requirements
- Liaising with the site and design teams to resolve technical queries
Requirements:
- Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline
- 2+ years experience as a Site Engineer
- Previous civil engineering / infrastructure experience
- Strong setting-out experience using Total Station/GPS
- Good knowledge of groundworks, drainage, roads and utilities
- Full driving licence and Safe Pass
Salary & Benefits:
- €55,000 €65,000 DOE
