Finishing Foreman
Finishing Foreman required for a Tier 1 Main Contractor to work on a large-scale apartment development in Cork. Our client is specifically looking for an experienced Finishing Foreman to oversee finishing trades and ensure a high standard of quality across the project. The successful Finishing Foreman will report to the Site Manager on site.
Role:
- Oversee and coordinate finishing trades on site, ensuring works are completed to a high standard.
- Manage the sequencing and quality control of internal and external finishes.
- Liaise with subcontractors to plan and progress finishing works in line with programme.
- Enforce site Health and Safety standards and ensure compliance with site rules and procedures.
- Monitor snagging and ensure timely close-out of defects.
- Support material and resource planning for finishing trades.
- Assist in resolving day-to-day site issues relating to finishing works.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Finishing Foreman on residential or apartment developments
- Strong trade background with a main contractor
- Strong attention to detail, leadership and organisational skills
