We are currently seeking an internal sales representative to join our clients growing business. The role will be varied in focus, covering both new and existing customers. Your focus would be working with a diverse customer base from owners through to site contractors. You will have the phone based selling skills to help grow and drive our new business platform, enabling you to learn and develop yourself into an external sales role within 2 years. We are looking for someone with the drive and motivation to succeed through delivering results whilst developing yourself internally.**Note: All applicants must ensure they have the appropriate visa in place to allow for travelling to the UK office for training.
Responsibilities:
- Focus on new business development through new and existing customers.
- When required assist with sales activities at exhibitions and conferences.
- Support external sales staff with installation training and support to ensure installation quality when required.
- Build relationships and identify new contacts / applications and projects to help further grow our business with existing clients.
- Drive sustainable sales growth through gaining engineering specifications for solutions and delivering world-class support throughout the project lifecycle.
- Effectively promote and apply Core Values, within the company and within industry.
- Plan and manage all customer contacts and meetings within CRM system.
- Provide routine, accurate and meaningful market information, forecasting and product planning to management.
- Provide pre-sales technical advice and solution guidance. This will extend to providing design input for our range of bespoke products where required.
- Develop relationships with learning managers within design engineering clients, organizing lunch & learn and CPD programmes.
Preferred Job Requirements:
- University degree and/or equivalent. Consideration would be given to those without relevant degree and/or equivalent if sufficient industry specific experience working in a similar role could be demonstrated.
- Professional sales experience with preference to those that have a successful record within an internal sales environment.
- Experience of working on any of the following would be favourable, commercial marine, navy, offshore wind, offshore oil and gas, OEM’s supplying to the O&G or Maine sectors.
- Knowledge in our target sector, with experience of civil construction, electrical, controls, automation and/or mechanical systems for our chosen markets.
