BIM Lead - MEP

Your new company A leading multidisciplinary engineering consultancy is seeking an experienced BIM Lead to join their growing Cork team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated BIM professional to step into a leadership role within a high-performing,sustainability-focused environment. You will play akey role in managing BIM delivery across a range of complex MEP projects, while mentoring a collaborative team and driving innovation and digital excellence. Your new role

• Lead and manage BIM delivery on projects aligned with ISO 19650 standards
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to BIM team members
• Oversee BIM systems, including Revit, Navisworks, and other digital tools
• Develop, implement, and maintain BIM standards, templates, and workflows
• Act as a key interface between project teams, ensuring consistency and quality of BIM outputs
• Support project delivery through modelling, coordination, and clash detection
• Manage BIM training, continuous improvement, and adoption of new technologies
• Collaborate with regional BIM leads on process and system improvements
• Support ISO 19650 audits and ensure compliance across projects
• Contribute to resource planning, commercial awareness, and project management activities

What you'll need to succeed

• Degree in BIM, Engineering, or a related discipline
• Minimum 5+ years' experience in BIM within MEP consultancy or contractor environments
• Strong expertise in Revit MEP, with knowledge of AutoCAD and Navisworks
• Proven experience in BIM coordination or management on complex projects
• Solid understanding of MEP design, construction processes, and project delivery
• Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills
• Proactive mindset with a passion for digital innovation and continuous learning
