Principal Global Sourcing Specialist | Galway (Hybrid) | 12-Month Contract

We are recruiting on behalf of a global leader in the regulated manufacturing sector for a Principal Global Sourcing Specialist to join their team in Galway on a 12-month fixed-term contract.

The Role

Supporting a critical Metals category, you will take ownership of supplier escalations, commercial negotiations, supply continuity and risk mitigation, and cost reduction initiatives, all while partnering closely with cross-functional stakeholders across the business. This role suits someone who can hit the ground running and operate independently in a fast-paced, global sourcing environment.

What you'll be doing:

• Managing supplier escalations and driving timely resolution
• Leading commercial and contract negotiations with strategic suppliers
• Owning supply continuity and risk mitigation activities
• Driving cost reduction and value improvement initiatives
• Supporting key projects and cross-functional stakeholder engagement
• Managing strategic supplier relationships and gathering market intelligence

About You

• 10+ years' experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain, ideally in a regulated manufacturing environment
• Strong strategic supplier management background
• Commercial and contract negotiation expertise
• Proven supply continuity and risk management experience
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
• Experience managing strategic supplier spend of $50M+

What's On Offer

• Salary: €85,000 - €90,000
• Car Allowance: €8,000
• Bonus: 15%
