Financial Accountant - Manufacturing - South Tipperary
HireForce is with a successful and established Irish manufacturing business to recruit a Financial Accountant for its operations in South Tipperary .
This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified accountant who wants to move beyond traditional financial reporting and gain greater exposure to the operational side of a business. Working closely with both Finance and Operations, you’ll gain hands-on exposure across management accounting, manufacturing performance, costing, stock, budgeting and process improvement while developing a strong understanding of how a large-scale manufacturing operation performs.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly management accounts and supporting financial analysis
- Produce regular operational and performance reporting for management
- Support annual budgeting and forecasting processes
- Monitor inventory and perform stock reconciliations across multiple locations
- Provide financial analysis and insight to operational stakeholders
- Maintain strong balance sheet controls and financial reconciliations
- Support statutory, tax and regulatory reporting requirements
- Work with external auditors throughout the year-end process
- Assist with the continued development of finance and reporting systems
- Identify opportunities to automate and improve existing finance processes
About You
- Exam qualified accountant
- 1+ years' relevant industry experience
- Advanced Excel skills and confidence working with financial systems
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively with non-finance stakeholders
