Following a recent promotion, our client is seeking an experienced manufacturing leader for a Director of Operations position. This position is integral to the success of their manufacturing operations at their Waterford facility.
Reporting to the VP & Site Lead, the Operations Director will lead, direct and manage all manufacturing operations across the business unit. As a member of the Executive Leadership Team, the successful candidate will translate business strategy into operational plans, driving excellence across safety, quality, delivery, capacity, yield and cost performance.
Responsibilities
- Leading manufacturing operations across a large-scale, 24/7 production environment.
- Driving organisational change and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Developing leadership capability, succession plans and high-performing teams.
- Leading capacity planning, manufacturing execution and product delivery.
- Providing strategic operational leadership and expert guidance across the site.
- Contributing to the overall direction and long-term objectives of the business as a member of the Executive Team.
Experiece
The ideal candidate will be an experienced senior operations leader with a proven track record in high-volume, highly automated manufacturing environments.
