We are recruiting a Process Engineer to join a leading Pharmaceutical company in the County Waterford area. As the Process Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that operations meet the highest standards, while driving continuous improvement initiatives across all manufacturing and development operations.

This is an initial 12 month contract with likely extension.

Key Duties And Responsibilities

Your duties as the Process Engineer will be varied; however, the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:

  • As the Process Engineer, you will liaise with external and internal customers, suppliers, and agencies to define and enhance manufacturing and development operations.
  • As the Process Engineer, you will lead technical problem resolution and root cause analysis for all manufacturing operations, working closely with cross-functional teams.
  • As the Process Engineer, you will design and execute experimental programmes, including process development and plant trials, ensuring effective implementation.
  • As the Process Engineer, you will act as the process lead for inspection development and assist in the implementation of capital projects.

Role Requirements

To be successful in your application to this exciting role as the Process Engineer, we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:

  • Relevant degree in Chemical, Industrial, or equivalent Engineering discipline.
  • Proven industry experience in pharmaceutical product development project life-cycle.
  • A working knowledge and practical experience with aseptic manufacturing, including lyophilisation, and the design of experiments and associated statistical techniques.
