A leading main contractor is seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a major healthcare project in Wexford Town. This is a high-profile, complex build offering strong exposure to large-scale project delivery within the healthcare sector and clear opportunities for career progression.

The role will suit a commercially strong QS who is confident managing project costs, subcontractor accounts, and supporting the successful financial delivery of a live construction project.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of project cost control and reporting
• Oversee subcontractor procurement, accounts, and payments
• Prepare valuations, variations, and change control documentation
• Support commercial forecasting and monthly reporting cycles
• Assist with claims preparation and contractual administration
• Work closely with site and project teams to ensure commercial alignment
• Monitor budgets, costs, and project financial performance
• Ensure compliance with contract terms and commercial procedures
• Liaise with client and supply chain on commercial matters

Candidate Requirements

• Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor on large-scale building projects
• Main contractor experience essential
• Strong understanding of construction contracts and commercial processes
• Healthcare, pharmaceutical, or similarly complex project experience desirable
• Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills
• Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or related discipline preferred
