Overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced HR Business Partner to join a dynamic HR team supporting a large manufacturing operation. This role will partner closely with business leaders and employees, providing strategic and operational HR support across a broad range of people-related activities.
The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering the site's people strategy, supporting leadership teams with employee relations, talent management, organisational development, performance management, engagement initiatives, change management, and the consistent application of HR policies and procedures.
This position is ideal for an HR professional who enjoys working closely with the business, building trusted relationships, influencing leaders, and supporting both day-to-day HR activities and longer-term organisational objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with leaders and managers to support business and people objectives.
- Provide coaching and guidance on employee relations, performance management, talent development, organisational design, change management, and HR policies.
- Support managers in resolving employee matters in a fair, consistent, and commercially balanced manner.
- Contribute to employee and industrial relations activities.
- Support talent management, succession planning, employee engagement, and culture initiatives.
- Advise leaders on organisational changes and people-related impacts of business decisions.
- Analyse HR metrics and trends to support data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement.
- Lead or contribute to local and wider HR projects and initiatives.
- Collaborate with Centres of Excellence and broader HR teams to deliver strategic HR programs.
- Act as delegate for senior HR leadership when required.
- Support recruitment, interviewing, onboarding, and workforce planning activities.
- Ensure compliance with employment legislation, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
Required Experience & Qualifications:
Education
- Degree qualification in Human Resources, Business, or a related discipline.
Experience
- Minimum 5 years' experience in an HR Business Partner or similar HR Generalist role.
- Strong experience managing employee relations cases and providing HR advice to managers.
- Proven ability to influence and build effective relationships across all levels of an organisation.
- Experience supporting organisational change and people initiatives.
- Strong stakeholder management, coaching, and communication skills.
- Experience using HR data and insights to support decision-making.
- Strong understanding of Irish employment legislation and HR best practices.
Desirable Experience
- Experience within a manufacturing, regulated, pharmaceutical, medical device, life sciences, or multinational environment.
- Exposure to industrial relations activities.
- Experience supporting large operational or production-based teams.
